Peter Kouvaris is a master dental ceramist with over 35 years of experience creating healthy, beautiful smiles. As a recipient of numerous academic achievement awards for his comprehensive knowledge of aesthetic dentistry and a proud member of the prestigious Oral Design International Foundation, he is considered to be one of the foremost technicians by his peers. Studying under the “master’s master ceramist,” Willi Geller, and technologists Walter Gebhard and Claude Sieber, his areas of expertise include ceramic and metal design, case sequencing, smile analysis, and material and implant sciences. The NYC based ceramist has since transitioned from student to teacher, lecturing at world class institutes such as International Aesthetic Advantage and New York University’s College of Dentistry over the past 25 years. He is currently a faculty member at NYU lecturing continuing education programs on Full Mouth Reconstruction and Aesthetics. When not teaching, Peter can be found at his studio lab in Manhattan’s financial district making the world better in his own unique way, one smile at a time.
